Here’s a blast from the past! Richy, an old friend of the Chiefs from back in their uni days, reached out to the Chiefs recently as he had built up savings for a home deposit and was ready to start looking for his first home.

Being a specialist in assisting first-home buyers, Justin engaged with Richy by explaining the various steps of a home purchase process and outlining what documentation was required.  We further outlined to Richy that he was eligible for the First Home Buyer Stamp Duty Exemption, which would save him tens of thousands of dollars.

After fully understanding his financial position, Justin was able to determine that a particular lender was the best option for Richy as it maximised his borrowing capacity, provided a competitive interest rate and accommodating income policies.

Being fully comfortable with the recommended strategy, Richy gave the green light to apply for a pre-approval which we facilitated and received promptly. Receiving this allowed Richy to start making offers on properties with confidence that the lender had committed to lending him money to purchase property.

After a range of inspections, Richy recently had an offer accepted on a home he loved! Once again our world-class turnaround times were on display as we were able to secure formal approval four days after the offer was accepted. We were then able to guide Richy through the loan agreement stage and liaise with his legal representative to ensure he was fully informed through to settlement.
