Liam and Kate – First Home Buyers
New First Home Owners in Langwarrin!
This success story is a bit closer to home than usual!
While the Chiefs were based out of Scoresby, we worked in the same building as Liam, who with partner Kate, were looking to purchase the property they had been renting.
Although the landlord had given a price they were looking for, Liam and Kate were unsure if they had the borrowing capacity to purchase for the required amount, and were unsure of what loan product was the most appropriate and which they were eligible for.
As usual, we went through the Chief process of understanding Liam and Kate’s financial position, current requirements, future goals and importantly loan preferences. By fully aligning ourselves with our clients needs, we are able to recommend the best possible financial solution.
As they were first home buyers, we explained to Liam and Kate how they were eligible for the First Home Guarantee which is a government initiative that removes costly Lenders Mortgage Insurance fees and provides a large interest rate discount for first home buyers when purchasing with a deposit under 20%.
Highlighting the Chief’s excellent service quality, a day after we received Liam and Kate’s documentation, we presented a loan solution with a major bank offering low interest rates, high borrowing capacity, offset accounts and places on the First Home Guarantee scheme. We secured a pre-approval with the bank which allowed Liam and Kate to make a strong offer on the property.
A day after Liam and Kate signed their contract of sale, we amazingly achieved formal loan approval with the bank which allowed us to fast-track the purchase through to settlement. We worked with the bank through the whole process, facilitating all bank requirements and providing frequent updates to Liam and Kate, which made the process smooth and as stress-free as purchasing your first home can be!
Although we’re no longer based out of Scoresby, Liam and Kate are part of the Chief inner-sanctum, and we’re over the moon to see you both so pumped now that you’ve put down roots in Langwarrin. We would normally say we that we hope you settle in nicely to the property, and turn the house into a home, but we think you did that a long time ago!
